Domaine Darviot-Perrin, Chassagne Blanchot Dessus 2011

Blanchot Dessus is located just south of Le Montrachet .. with only a small road separating the two vineyards. Daviot-Perrin has a plot at the top of the vineyard just a few meters from Montrachet. The connection to Grand Cru really shines through in this magnificent wine. In the bouquet fine white and yellow fruits – fresh with a classic citrus infused Chassagne minerality. On the palate very intense and powerful for this level and for the vintage, with a long and persistent mineral driven finish. It’s powerful yet still refined .. a magnificent Chassagne in the making.
