The Dujac Aux Combottes 1999 is surely but slowly opening up and starting to show the glory of the 1999 vintage. In the bouquet red and green strawberries, gooseberries and cherries with hints of redcurrent. On the palate quite fresh and surpriingly crisp pinot aromas. Lovely fruit, still tight but with a good midpalate concentration – long lingering finish. Lovely expression of this outstanding vintage. Need some years to open fully … and 10 years more to reach a level of full maturity. Much better than the bottle tasted last year – Fine+

- Terroir View: Domaine Dujac Chambertin A rare bird the Dujac Chambertin – both a Chambertin Clos de Béze and a Chambertin – as the rules allow this mix of these two terroirs. - Terroir Insight: Domaine Dujac, Romanée Saint-Vivant To find or even acquire the Domaine Dujac Romanée-Saint-Vivant does take quite an effort – with a production of two barrels annually it is a rare bird indeed. - Terroir Insight: Domaine Dujac Bonnes Mares (update) One of the top wines of Domaine Dujac is the Bonnes Mares .. although I do have many favourite cuvées from this fine estate. While Dujac makes both a Chambertin and a Romanée Saint-Vivant, these are very rare indeed and almost impossible to get hold of, so the Bonnes Mares could perhaps be considered as the ...
- Terroir Insight: Domaine Dujac Clos de la Roche Clos de la Roche is the king of Morey-Saint-Denis in some sense, and a vineyard that represent the tradition of the Morey-Saint-Denis appellation.
