Over the last few years, Domaine Dujac has changed the modus operandi for the vintage tastings. Now, they make a small series with approximately 10 people in a new tasting room that is part of the cellar.
This is a new format and works well for my journalistic side, but it takes some of the romance and poetry out of the tasting experience nevertheless. This is the direction the wine world is going and how the cookie crumbles.

As a side note: I have followed Dujac’s wines since the early 1990s. I’ve tasted many that are even older, including a delightful 1976 Clos Saint-Denis that is a benchmark for hot vintages. So, Dujac, for me, is like a home away from home. One can always find comfort in a Dujac wine. It’s a safe haven, so to speak.
The quality of the ’24 wines is somewhat of a challenge also at Domaine Dujac, as critics in their right mind can see that 2024 reds are a bit behind 2025, 2023, and 2022. That being said, good wines were made at Dujac, and the decision to go mainly whole cluster in 2024 was both brave and successful.
Enough talk. Let’s taste!
Wines were tasted at the domaine on November 20th, 2025.
Domaine Dujac Nuits-Saint-Georges Aux Cras 2024 (negoce)
Somewhat reduced … quite a NSG sendoff with a ferrit minerality … lovely midpalate feel … it has a fine potential for the vintage – good intensity.
(Drink from 2032) – Very Good (91p) – ![]()
Domaine Dujac Chambolle-Musigny 2024
This is the domaine’s version of Chambolle Village. Almost no négoce wines from Dujac in 2024. The Chambolle is a bit on the extracted side in 2024, but the whole cluster does an excellent job here. Powerful rather than delicate … regardless, I have a soft spot for the whole cluster and Dujac.
(Drink from 2032) – Very Good (89) – ![]()
Domaine Dujac Morey-Saint-Denis 2024
This is a textbook Dujac. Lovely, more silky fruit and a lovely, elegant intensity. Has a lovely hedonistic side for the vintage. I do like this wine.
