ELISA SIGAUT is a very new and promishing name in Chambolle-Musigny. Elisa is from the Sigaut family and will take over or inherit a lovely portfolio of vineyards from the family in Chambolle-Musigny.
The vineyards will gradually be transfered as Elisa has the capacity to make the full portfolio.
The creation of a new estate
First vintage is 2025 with a lovely silky Bourgogne rouges from Fixin. Elegant and expressive – cold prefermentation does work very well with the destemmed grapes.
This is indeed very exciting … when more vineyards will be added from the family holdings – first Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Gruenchers in 2026.
Then the following vineyards will be added to the estate:
Chambolle-Musigny village, Chambolle-Musigny Derrière le Four, Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes,,Chambolle-Musigny 1er cru Les Fuées, Chambolle-Musigny 1er cru Les Chatelots, Morey-Saint-Denis 1er cru Les Charrières.
Add to this a Aligoté and some plots in Chambolle and Gilly that will be taken into future vintages of the generic Bourgogne Rouge.
