Domaine Georges Noëllat, Bourgogne 2014

While I like a lot of generic Burgundies I rarely taste a refined example – like the 2014 from Domaine Georges Noëllat. It’s pure, cool, juicy and vibrant. The nose is brimming with cool red and darkish fruit – variations of cherries whith some hints of sweeter red fruit notes and some crushed cherry stones. On the palate airy, energetic with a quite long and cool with fine cherry notes in the finish .. purity is impressive for his level …
