The Chambolle 2015 is surprisingly fresh and vivid, both for the vintage and the producer – who normally needs more time to unfold. With very fine acidity and fine Chambolle minerality, this is lively and a bit on the hedonistic side. Slightly warm, it’s still a lovely expression of Chambolle. This will be exciting to follow; as always, better 15-20 years in the cellar for a Roumier village for maximum hedonistic pleasure.
