The vineyards are dry now – end of July 2026 … and some are very dry indeed, and the vegetation in the rows is now starting to show its effect. Lot of vegetation in the rows will in the end influence the water left for the sprint to the harvest,

Not that the water consumed by the gras and the other vegetation in the vineyard will drain the vineyard completely within the last period to the harvest. But the extra vegetation have often been “drinking” water the full year … hence straining the water reserves,
Some produceres with high trellise vineyards and goblet like pruning have seen the effects in dry years where the yields can becom very small …
Its producres like Charles Lachaux and before also Bizot that experienced very low yields in dry years … or when they did not manage to keep the water consumption under control.
Will this happen in 2026 … we will see
Lets see!
