Many readers ask about restaurants in Burgundy and want to know where I eat, as well as where can one expect both good food and interesting wine.
This is the newest edition of my favourites, with somewhat more elaborate coverage.
Wine, ambience, and attitude
There are a few important things to note:
– Plan ahead; in some villages options are very limited.
– If possible, book in advance.
And always be careful with Sundays and even Mondays; many restaurants are closed.
