The 1999 Meursault from Coche-Dury is now entering a semi mature stage. Somewhat closed bouquet, with notes of citrus (orange, grapefruit) and hints of fresh almonds. On the palate quite rich with aromas of almond, honeysuckle and hints of citrus. Good acidity, balance and length. A very nice effort …

Domaine Arlaud, Morey Saint Denis Les Blanchards 2009

The Domaine Arlaud Les Blanchards is slightly closed. In the bouquet cherry stones, gooseberries, raspberrries and darker notes as cassis. Slightly dusty. On the palate quite tight with a very good focus and grip. Nice acidity for a 2009. Still it has some of the caracteritic 2009 dark fruits. A …

The Genevrieres 2009 from Antoine Jobard is a very impressive effort in a quite difficult vintage for white Burgundy.
