A good and balanced wine from Mortet. A wine with some trace of the 2009 vintage, quite heavy and dense, but still a very wine good. 88p (2012 - 2020) …
The Gevrey Chambertin 1996 is a surprisingly good effort from Dennis Mortet. Showed good fruit and nice sweet tones. Mortet was highly extracted in the mid-1990s, but this wine has developed better than expected, and now behaves like a fairly classic Gevrey - a good to very good wine. (2013-2022) - …
