Domaine Bachelet, Chassagne La Boudriotte 2008

The 2008 La Boudriotte is a classic and expressive Chassagne 1er cru. In the nose quite powerful and aromatic with layers of yellow frult – intense and deep – with a powerful minerality lurking below the aromatic fruit. On the palate rich and quite dense for the vintage, with a lovely intensity and energy. Lacking a bit of the understated refinement of the magnificent Blanchot Dessus 08 … but nevertheless a delightful glass of Chassagne.
