The 2013 Liger-Belair Clos du Chateau is firing on all cylinders, and is a magnificent wine, currently exploding with Vosne spices and airy, energetic fruit.
It’s very expressive and exuberant, flashing all its scents and spicy notes as a great tribute to Vosne-Romanée.
While not a big wine, it is a true, core expression of Vosne in its essence. I am almost lost for words, and truly delighted. It somehow reminds me of the Bizot Vosne village from 2013, which expresses the same unparalleled Vosne vividness. Simply put, a vin d’émotion.

Louis-Michel Liger-Belair just before opening ...

This will definitely keep for some years yet, but drinking it now is a hedonistic ...

It is a refined wine, and tasted blind the guess was a 1er cru. Tremendous hedonistic joy and pleasure – a full house! I still prefer the Clos ...
