The 2013 Liger-Belair Clos du Chateau is firing on all cylinders, and is a magnificent wine, currently exploding with Vosne spices and airy, energetic fruit.
It’s very expressive and exuberant, flashing all its scents and spicy notes as a great tribute to Vosne-Romanée.
While not a big wine, it is a true, core expression of Vosne in its essence. I am almost lost for words, and truly delighted. It somehow reminds me of the Bizot Vosne village from 2013, which expresses the same unparalleled Vosne vividness. Simply put, a vin d’émotion.

Some very competent Burgundy tasters … and this afternoon gave me the idea to start Winehog back in ...

With the ’22 vintage, Louis-Michel Liger-Belair got new plots in Grands Echezeaux, Vosne-Romanée Les Malconsorts, La Croix Rameau, and Aux Reas. He also added to his existing ...
