Domaine Etienne Grivot, Clos de Vougeot 2014

The Clos de Vougeot 2014 from Grivot is a lovely creation. It’s quite expressive in the bouquet offringdark and red pinot fruit, spices and a deep and intense earthyness. It’s a both weigthy and quite powerful Closde Vouget, yet its so refined and airy for a Clos de Vougeot. Really love the nerve and tension in the fruit … pure and vibrant … a benchmark Clos de Vougeot. Grivot did really well in 2014.
