Domaine Darviot-Perrin, Bourgogne Chardonney 2012

The Darviot-Perrin Bourgogne Chardonney 2012 is a tremendous effort for the vintage and this level. It’s made from the vineyard Les Magnys (both village and generic) from very old vines planted in 1953. It offers true Meursault character at a very reasonable price level. In the bouquet fresh and crisp white and yellow fruits .. pure, quite exotic and expressive – offering a lovely minerality. On the palate fresh and vibrant for the vintage with a lovely ripe and weighty fruit. Love the fresh acidity and a fine expression of terroir. A delightful “little Meursault” in the making … impressive.
