Domaine Jacques Prieur, Chevalier-Montrachet 2013

The 2013 Chevalier-Montrachet from Domaine Jacques Prieur is a quite delightful glass. The nose is crammed with cool white fruit – notes of white peach, apple and under-ripe pear, hints of acacia – all brought forward by a quite intense and filigree minerality. On the palate elegant yet quite powerful – focused by the vivid 2013 acidity and the minerality of the powerful terroir. Long and intense – lovely energy and purity .. quite elegant for the vintage.
