Domaine Odoul-Coquard, Chambolle-Musigny 2014

The Chambolle-Musigny 2014 village from Domaine Odoul-Coquard is showing fine promise but is still very youthfull. The nose offers red and darkberry fruit – raspberries, cherries, pomegranate and boysen berries – oak a bit forward currently but with some airing it integrates well. On the palate lovely deep and juicy fruit, generous and transparent with a fine expression of Chambolle terroir. A beautiful wine .. but need time to integrate the oak.
