J.-F. Mugnier, Nuits-St-Georges Clos de la Marechale 2011 Blanc

The Clos de la Maréchale 2011 Blanc is very balanced and harmonious effort. The nose offer a nice discrete slightly exotic fruit notes of peach, pear spiced with a nice minerality and a hint of oak. On the palate fine harmonious fruit .. medium weight … good concentration with a nice minerality in the finish. Its drinking quite well currently .. but would keep it to unfold more complexity. A very good wine … but like quite many 2011 whites its perhaps lacking a bit of nerve.
