Burgundies are becoming more and more expensive … and the best village wines are now more than 100€. So what do one enjoy on a Tuesday evening … the answer could be Budget Burgs!
If I like the wine – and it cost less than 40€ when I review the wine – then it’s qualified to be included on the Budget Burgs list. With wines tasted from cask I review the price when they reach the market. It’s all wines I would happily enjoy myself on a Tuesday evening.
I have tried to make this list transparent and without any commercial links to specific importers, wine merchants – so the list is based prices taken from Wine-Searcher. So if the local dealer is setting a much higher price … then please don’t blame me!
