Domaine Meo-Camuzet, Vosne Romanee 2008

The Vosne Romanee village 2008 from Meo is slightly closed – but still quite accessible. In the nose red berry fruit .. liquorice … hint of tar in the finish. On the palate quite rich dark fruit – a bit dense and slightly extracted for the vintage. Lovely balance between the fruit and the quite high acidity. A very good wine – but slightly austere at the moment – will require time.
