The Clos de Vougeot 2004 from Meo is showing quite mature notes. In the nose spicy sweet pinot aromas with cherries and raspberries. On the palate quite lush og rich with a quite good length. The fruit seems slighly stewed and dense. Lacking some vibrant freshness in the fruit – But still a nice glass of matured burgundy. Not fully mature yet … but would not keep 10 years more in the cellar.
(Drink From 2013) Very Good – 89p
