Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair, Echezeaux 2006

The first vintage of Echezeaux from Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair. Made from the two climats Cruots and Champs Traversin – on vineyards leased from Domaine Lamadon. In the bouquet dark berries and starting to show some red notes and hints of rose petals and peony rose. On the palate quite dense fruit with a very good midpalate concentration. Finely balanced with a good minerality and a spicy acidity. The finish is long and quite powerfull … a fine first effort from this vineyard.
