The Gevrey Vieilles Vigne is a delightfully expressive effort – made from a 70+ year old vines. In the bouquet layers of red and dark berry fruit … pure and outgoing with a lovely expression of Gevrey terroir. On the palate good concentration – but still quite lightfooted and airy. Love the display of terroir and the expressive fruit. Will provide excellent drinking even early on.
(Drink from 2021) – Very Good (88 – 90p) – Tasted 17/03/2015 from CASK
