It is easy to love Puligny, Chassagne, and Meursault. In these times of Global warming, there are, however, still longer gaps between the wines that have sufficient freshness and tension… You know Frais et Léger.

Some terroirs are, however, hiding some beautiful gems and potential. It’s a question of palate and taste, but I have my views built over 30 years of tasting Burgundies.
Global warming is really influencing the wines now … and it is becoming ever more important to look for terroirs that have a good acidity and a good, powerful minerality.
I have identified the following terroirs as areas with a good potential to produce fresh and vivid whites – where the minerality adds to the tension in the wines..
