Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair, Echezeaux 2011

The Echezeaux 2011 from Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair is showing beautifully after a bit of time in the glass. The nose is brimming with organic fruit – slightly on the dark side for a Liger-Belair wine with a nice mineral impression. On the palate juicy and quite energetic, with no sign of 2011 greenness. The midpalate fruit is deep and quite weighty for the vintage – a delightful wine – need time to unfold nevertheless.
