Les Chaumes 2004 is one of the lesser Vosne Romanee 1er cru, but from a producer like Liger-Belair, it’s still a very good effort. The wine is definitely available and on track to open up. Very elegant and classic Burgundy, clean and with a nice terroir expression, a little less minerality than La Colombiere, but has a little more weight and concentration. (2013 – 2022) – 88p
