The Romanee-Saint-Vivant 2008 from Arnoux-Lachaux is getting more and more detailed and balanced. The nose is quite expressive offering variations of red and dark fruits – cherries, raspberries and hints of blueberries – spiced with peony rose and a nice floral minerality. On the palate refined and cool fruit … lovely depth and complexity. The oak is now very well integrated – a delightful wine, excellent for the vintage – with a lovely concentration.
